I make traditional musical instruments jaw harps, fujaras and pastoral flutes for the people of the 21st century.
Welcome to my site Drumble Oberta jaw harp.

This page serves as a presentation of my work for you.

You can find my e-mail address in the contact section. If you are interested in a jaw harp, fujara or pastoral flute, write to me and we will agree on the details.

I first encountered traditional musical instruments as a small boy before I started going to school. Every time they flashed on TV, were heard in performances, or at the fair, they aroused great curiosity in me. They pulled me in with something. I strained my ears and listened carefully. The first attempts at playing the flute and fujara came at this time. The first jaw harp got into my hands. And after some time the first attempts to create my own instruments followed. I started making jaw harps just like that from a scratch, without a template, but with a clear goal. To make my own jaw harp that will not be a copy of any other. And I stick to this until now.

My work is based on traditional procedures and knowledge. The production is artisanal, manual and therefore each jaw harp is an original. None of the two jaw harps are the same. Although the jaw harp is often considered a quiet, inconspicuous instrument, I believe that a good jaw harp must be robust and sound clearly, distinctly and fresh. It must "thunder". I've been making jaw harps for ten years and I'm always trying new things, striving to improve my instruments to make them loud and playable. Because today the jaw harp is no longer just a folklore symbol, but a part of contemporary culture, and only the best instruments can succeed.
